2025 Registration
HOW TO REGISTER
Every rugby player in Alberta must register electronically through the Rugby Canada National Online Registration System. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you:
1. Launch the Registration Page: Go to the provided link.
2. Select Your Region: Choose “Alberta Rugby,” then scroll to select “Strathcona Druids RFC.”
3. Choose Your Membership(s): Scroll down and click the "REGISTER" button.
4. Create a Profile: You will be prompted to create a Sportlomo Profile or log in with your existing profile.
5. Sign the Waiver: Complete the waiver at the bottom of the page.
6. Respect in Sport (RIS) Requirement: Respect in Sport: Parent Program – Rugby Alberta
- For participants aged 18 and under, one parent or guardian must complete the Respect in Sport program.
- Enter the certificate number into the registration system.
- The program costs $12 plus taxes and is valid for 4 years.
7. Complete the Form and check all the required information and proceed to Payment:
- Ensure the billing address matches the credit card billing information exactly.
- Review the breakdown of fees during the process.
8. Age Grades Guide: Please read the selection tabs on the registration page for what link is the correct BIRTH year for your athlete.
Junior Family Responsibilities:
Welcome to our Junior Family!
Each junior family is to assist at the clubhouse various events, high school tournaments, the Qualico Clean-up, Friday junior events, Saturday festivals. This involvement requires approximately 10-14 hours of volunteering. Additionally, families are expected to participate in our club fundraising events to help manage our seasonal expenses. If prefer, there is a buyout option available $100.00 during registration, exempts your family from volunteer and fundraising. Contact Stacey if you are opting for the buyout and have more than one participant for the necessary code.

MINI UNDER 5 Introduction to the game Co-Ed Program
2025 Druids JR Under 5 rugby player
(CO-ED)
BIRTH YEARS: 2020, 2021, 2022 Under-5 Rookie Rugby: Introduction to Sport Training on Friday evenings at 6:15 PM. Optional Edmonton Rugby Union training on Saturday mornings at various rugby clubs in the Edmonton area. Each junior family is asked to assist at the clubhouse for multiple functions, e.g., high school tournaments, Qualico Community Clean up, and Friday night junior events.
Full club membership. This membership allows you to play rugby for the Druids, and also includes insurance against injuries sustained in matches or training, accidental death & dismemberment, and excess accident medical coverage. As a member, you will also have access to the property outside of scheduled rugby program activities, providing the fields are open.

JUNIOR UNDER 13 LADS AND LADIES CONTACT RUGBY PROGRAM

BIRTH YEARS: 2012, 2013. Under 13 LADS and LADIES Contact Rugby Program: Training on Friday at 630 PM (A second training date will be added on Teamsnap by the coaches.) Sunday morning festival games at various rugby clubs in the Edmonton area. Each junior family is requested to assist at the clubhouse for multiple functions, such High school tournaments,ico Community Cleanup, and Friday night junior events.
Full club membership. This membership allows you to play rugby for the Druids, and also includes insurance against injuries sustained in matches or training, accidental death & dismemberment, and excess accident medical coverage. As a member, you will also have access to the property outside of scheduled rugby program activities, providing the fields are open.

JUNIOR UNDER 18 LADS AND LADIES CONTACT RUGBY PROGRAM

SEASON STARTS AFTER THE HIGHSCHOOL SEASON ENDS - MID JUNE IS WHEN WE WILL KICK OFF THIS PROGRAM.
BIRTH YEARS: 2007,2008. Under 18 LADS and LADIES Contact Rugby Program, Training on Friday evenings at 630 PM. (A second date will be added by the Coaches on TEAMSNAP) .The Games are at various rugby clubs in the Edmonton area on weeknights. Each junior family is asked to assist at the clubhouse for multiple functions, such as high school tournaments, Qualico Community Clean up, and Friday junior events.

BIRTH YEARS: 2018, 2019 Under-7 Flag Rookie Rugby:
Training on Friday evenings at 6:30 PM. Saturday morning festival games at various rugby clubs in the Edmonton area which will be all outlined on TEAMSNAP. Each junior family is asked to assist at the clubhouse for functions, e.g., high school tournaments, Qualico Community Clean up, and Friday night junior events. Full club.
BIRTH YEARS: 2016, 2017 Under-9 Flag Rookie Rugby:
Training on Fridays at 6:30 PM. (possible second training date-Coaches will update on Teamsnap) Saturdays are festival games early mornings at various rugby clubs in the Edmonton area in the mornings.
This membership allows you to play rugby for the Druids, and also includes insurance against injuries sustained in matches or training, accidental death & dismemberment, and excess accident medical coverage. As a member, you will also have access to the property outside of scheduled rugby program activities, providing the fields are open.

2010 year athletes will have the choice to continue after the Under15 season and join the Under 16 program for July and August to prepare for high school rugby and gain experience before grade 10.

Each family is requested to assist at the clubhouse for multiple functions such as high school tournaments the Qualico Community Clean-Up, and Friday night junior events.
