YOUTH RUGBY
Strathcona Druids Rugby Club is proud to support youth rugby in Alberta. The Strathcona Druids Rugby Club hosts rugby for all age grades during Spring & Summer.
Rugby is a sport for life. Kids can start playing at the age of 5 and continue until they chose to retire from the game.
In order to introduce children to the game in a safe, healthy and enjoyable way modifications have been made to the traditional game to suit the developmental stages of children. All coaches have or will be trained and certified as mandated by the Canadian Rugby Union in order to provide a safe and enjoyable experience.
Every two years, kids move up an age grade and transition from one team to another. Age and physical maturity are the key factors when kids move divisions.
