The Druids RFC is excited to announce that world renowned coach and international player Robin MacDowell will be joining the Druids RFC for a clinic the week of June 27-29!
Former Rugby Canada international player, and one of the most knowledgable 7s coaches around, MacDowell has made it his life’s mission to grow the game of rugby at all levels.
After 3 years of playing with the men’s Senior National Team, representing Canada at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, Robin hung up his cleats on the competitive stage to become a dedicated coach.
His credentials include the Dog River Howlers, the Mexican National Senior Women’s 7s team, and most recently, the launch of the MacDowell Rugby Academy.
Robin MacDowell’s motto is “Dream. Believe. Succeed.”, and this is evident in every step that he takes to better young rugby players wherever he goes.
The Druids are extremely lucky to have secured 3 days with MacDowell, and the schedule for this amazing opportunity can be found below. In lieu of payment for this camp, the Druids Juniors program is requesting Strathcona County Food Bank donations of non perishable items to support our community, and in the spirit of the game, provide an opportunity to give back. These donations can be dropped off in a marked box in the clubhouse anytime during the week of June 27-29.
