$300,000 in 3 years: This is our minimum cash goal, which we hope to raise from members, alumni, and the public. We also hope to raise an extra $150,000 through corporate donations and various fundraising and volunteer efforts. To get everything rolling, we’ve set up a Strathcona Druids RFC Fund under the Canadian Rugby Foundation. We’ve already seen great success from this fund, garnering two pledged donations of $25,000 each with hopefully much more to come! While we understand that not everyone is able to commit that kind of money, every contribution counts towards the legacy of both the Strathcona Druids RFC and the Lynn Davies Rugby Park. Even just a small monthly donation of $25 adds up fast; for less than the cost of a burger and a beer out each month, you can help raise up to $1,500 for your club over the next five years! Donations to the fund are also tax-deductible and come with a tax receipt, helping to reduce the overall cost of your contribution.
